About this Trail:

It's time to go to the top!

Hike up the Crater Lake trail and just before the descent to the lake there's an unmarked junction on your right. The trail ascends upward above the lake  branching off in different directions.  Rock cairn markers are prevalent and eventually the paths will lead you to the main ridge.  Once the ridge is gained caution is advised where large cornices are evident and curiosity for the view is frowned upon here.  The best view is from the top!  The ridge can be misleading by false peaks and can discourage some. Stay focused.. you can do it!  On a sunny day, the view from the top is priceless and one of the best feelings is being on the summit of a mountain!

At the top there's a book you can sign to solidify your efforts in writing along with the maple leaf to let you know where you are.

This hike is not for the faint-hearted.  Be prepared for high winds, snow, rain and fatigue. Exposure and weather conditions can change very fast so be prepared!

Have a great hike..
