Follow this to Heading Creek FSR which you will continue on to the China Knows Trail Head, not far pass the Poison Creek FSR.
The trail starts off pretty steep with a short rope climb, really short, about 10 paces up the rope. From there you will climb a winding trail in and out of a spruce forest, and on to rock outcrops for a breeze and view. After about 3 and a half km you will find yourself at the end of the line. The trail brings you to a huge rock cliff with staggering views. The geology of this land is breathtaking. There are crevases in the outcrop that run deep enough to make my legs weak. The edge of the land falls away too steep to see, without getting on your belly and looking over. There is a square 'chimney' structure that the courage can walk out on to, leaving you wondering how long you should stand on this structure that remains while, the rock on 3 of it's sides has fallen away! And if this is not enough for the curious of mind, the cliffs are home to numerous mountain goats. It was easy to count 9 with my bare eyes. They are amazing , gravity defying creatures, climbing the vertical cliff as if they are on level ground.
This is hike you will always remember.
