About this Trail:

Named for what you'll be doing on the bike for 5.3 kilometers!  This trail is going to be ridden a lot so get to it!  Designed by a reputable trailbuilding company from down south, this trail sets the standard for fun.

Starting out two switchbacks below the top of Boer Mountain road, a small pull-out and picnic table to the right will be the first indicator.  You'll then read the sign  When Pigs Fly. If you missed it, then soon you'll be at the end of the line where giant radio, cellular towers will be.  Just head on down a couple of turns in the road and you'll see it to your left.

This trail is rated intermediate, but advanced riders will love it all the way to the bottom.  The top section has the steepest grade along with the largest berms and jumps.  The flow is fantastic as the berms and kickers go on and on for everyone's delight!  It's a good idea to take a warm-up run to scope out the jumps before you take to the sky. A few sections mid-way have early landings; so it's easy to blow right over them and land flat to your shocks' dislike. The lower section of the trail has a nice wall ride on it and is fun to session.  From here the trail crosses the powerline and then narrows into a tighter turning singletrack which is merged with Charlottes Web and continues to the Kager Lake parking lot. Hopefully your shuttle ride will be waiting to take you back to the top, but it's highly doubtful unless Mario Andretti was at the wheel.

Beginner to intermediate riders fret not cause you can still do this; just take it easy and you'll be able to roll over the jumps without catching any air and work your way up to it via the smaller sections.  I believe this trail was designed for progression and it won't be long until everyone's hogging the sky!

What are you waiting for.....Get out there!!

I loved this trail the first time I rode it and my love grew each time afterwards. Shredded it this weekend for the first time this year, and it didn't disappoint. I wore a perma-grin the whole way down. This weekend was a wet one, and the trail suffered a bit for it, with puddles in a few transitions, and the bottom, 'Betweaked' section heavy with water and mud. Regardless this trail delivers fun for all 5.3km!
