This Saturday July 17 is Parks Day, and Driftwood Canyon is hosting a fun family afternoon! The park is inviting you to attend the launch of Driftwood Canyon Park Improvements. BC Parks, in partnership with the Bulkley Valley Naturalists parent organization BC Nature, and the Smithers Rotary Club, completed significant improvements to Driftwood Canyon Park. Upgrades include a new wheelchair accessible bridge and trails, and new interpretive signs. Funding was provided by BC Parks, the Wetzin’kwa Community Forest, and the National Trails Coalition.
